You’re invited to join us this November for multiple free environmental monitoring workshops and events as part of our Annual TERN OzFlux Meeting. But be quick as registrations close soon.
 

TERN’s annual OzFlux meetings bring together Australian and international scientists, managers and students to learn the latest in environmental flux monitoring, analysis and technology.

This year’s meeting is at the beautiful Hawkesbury campus of Western Sydney University, home to the Cumberland Plains Observatory and unique field facilities.

The meeting offers multiple free environment monitoring workshops and events.  The program spans nearly ten days, enabling you to choose the events that most appeal to you.

Meeting Location: Western Sydney University, Hawkesbury Campus, Sydney, Australia

 

Registration is free and open to everyone, and the meeting is highly recommended for early career researchers and students.

With four separate events running during the Annual TERN OzFlux Meeting 2017, there is something for everyone:

 

Monday 6 Nov - Friday 10 Nov

Data Processing Workshop

Learn more about processing and analysis of eddy covariance.
Hands-on practice in running Python scripts for gap-filling and flux partitioning of your sites' data.

 

Sunday 12 Nov

Field trip to Cumberland Plains Supersite

Home to the Cumberland Plain Observatory, this field trip will take you through the unique remnant woodlands of the Cumberland Plains Forest, and demonstrate the applied nature of environmental monitoring.

 

Monday 13 & Tuesday 14 Nov

TERN OzFlux Conference

Join us for the main event - the Annual TERN OzFlux Conference. Oral and poster sessions are available.

 

Wednesday 15 Nov

TERN Australian SuperSite Network Meeting

The TERN SuperSites principal investigator's face-to-face meeting.
