There was overwhelming interest in the 2013 TERN Symposium, and the venue was filled to capacity with ecosystem scientists and managers from around Australia. There was a great energy throughout the speaking sessions, poster sessions, and social events, as this diverse group of people come together to participate in TERN's vision for transforming Australian ecosystem science to build a national, multi-disciplinary, networked, and collaborative research community.
